Discover the magnificent monuments of Luxor’s East Bank on a private day tour from your hotel. This guided experience takes you through some of the most important and visually stunning sites of ancient Egypt, offering insights into the religious, political, and cultural life of the New Kingdom.
Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Luxor in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Your first stop is the Luxor Temple, a remarkable monument of the New Kingdom. Its grand entrance features elaborate battle reliefs, statues of pharaohs, and marks the start of the famous Avenue of Sphinxes, which once connected Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple.
Next, explore the Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex in ancient Egypt. Dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, this sprawling site was built over more than 2,000 years. The highlight is the Great Hypostyle Hall, with 134 towering columns reaching up to 21 meters, alongside obelisks, colossal statues, ritual courtyards, and a sacred lake.
You will also walk along a restored section of the Avenue of Sphinxes, the ceremonial road used during the Opet Festival, linking Luxor and Karnak temples. This path gives a sense of the grandeur and pageantry of ancient Egyptian religious celebrations.
After the tour, you’ll return comfortably to your hotel in Luxor, having experienced some of the city’s most iconic and awe-inspiring monuments.
